Question / Help Black screen in preview, but properties shows capture

Using an Avermedia Live Gamer HD. When I load the scene up with my capture card as my only source I just get a black screen. When I go to the properties of the source I can see my game just fine (capturing my PS4.) HDCP is off. I've also tried using the stream engine software and capturing that as my device but there was no change in behavior. It was still there in the properties, but nothing on the preview.

It seems OBS just isn't able to see the capture once I get out of the properties of that source. I started recording gameplay and the resulting video was just black nothingness as well.

Can you just try right clicking on the Source and choose Transform, Fit to Screen

No problem - I have that one a lot and it always catches me out - I'm not sure why you get a zero sized window sometimes but it's easy to fix so probably not high priority for the devs to look into :-)
