Question / Help Black screen in OBS with Game Capture

hello, i'm on Windows 10 using OBS 0.16.2 64b trying to stream WoW with Game Capture. however, the preview screen just stays black after i've set the window up. what's wrong><?

without that my guess is the game capture isn't working as this can be an issue, try a display capture.

hm, i swapped back to the normal (non-studio) version and seems to be working, i'll stick to this for now lol
