Black screen - graphic setting option did not work

Hi!

Not sure if explaining correctly. I have used OBS Studio on my old laptop and it worked fine. Now have a newer laptop (Windows 10) and it's changed so much I'm lost.

I have a black screen. Went through the normal options of graphics settings - power saving, but it's still black. I've Googled for a fix and I've run out of fixes.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? My PC spec is below...

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics 2.38 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.39 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

We'd need a logfile to be able to diagnose the issue. A list of specs doesn't show us what's going on, on the back end. :)

Do be aware that Microsoft changed where GPU assignment is set. You CANNOT do it from the nVidia Control Panel/Radeon equivalent. It MUST be done in the Windows settings now to take effect.
