Question / Help Black screen for window capture.

I am on a lenovo and when I do window capture the only thing that works is for town of salem. The rest when I try selecting it is just a black square/ rectangle inside red border. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

I had this problem also, and I'm aware that this problem is only apparent on laptops.
