Question / Help black screen for 3 months :(

Hello questions here don't seem to get answered but hey worth a shot

anyways about 3 months ago obs just all the sudden blackscreened on me. both the classic and this version for game capure. using windows 10 also. had this issue for at least 3 month. to solve it i pretty much just switched to shadowplay.. that doesn't work too well for consoles and i'd like to get into streaming again

anyways just curious on how I should fix this

note log file says avermedia portable engine but the issue is also happening with pc games too. pretty much game capture is all but useless right now tried everything I found on youtube too :(

Why are you trying to game capture the avermedia stream engine? Use video capture device source.

the audio was choppy like a helicopter. think the portable requires ya to use the stream engine to stream with. idk always had problems with it that way. honestly more of a pc gamer and this this sat on the self a while hehe.

it's happening for PC games too.


I found a video saying it was capturing my cpu's gpu or something. In nvidea's settings I changed multi display/mix gpu acceleration from single to multiple display performance and was able to capture overwatch just now. might be fixed but don't want to jinx it. honestly would of never figured that shit out without getting lucky. =p

Yes. You have multiple game capture sources for PC games. They can conflict with each other.
