1. Using Windows Update, update Windows 10 the newest available version per https://obsproject.com/blog/five-simple-tips-for-new-streamers . Your version is no longer supported.
2. Update OBS from https://obsproject.com/download . Only the newest available version is supported.
3. Your microphone has a sample rate that doesn't match the rest. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
3 - S32D850 (AMD High Definition Audio Device): 48000 Hz
Microphone (UC70): 44100 Hz

5. Try turning off hardware acceleration in Google Chrome.
4. Run OBS as Admin. Right click on the shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.

Thanks for your help. My Windows 10 is up to date. I'm running IoT Desktop so I guess that's why it doesn't look it. I'm using version 26.1.1 OBS as it's stable for my system. I've tried later versions but OBS thinks it's crashed every time I close it. I may have found a work around using the NDI option for Skype. The only issue is, there's no sign of Skype until a call is made. My system is used remotely by others hence the IoT. I haven't got around to setting my audio up yet, I'll be using Voicemeeter for that. Thanks for the heads up though.
