I am running OBS on my laptop, and have had no problems capturing from a large number of sources, including:
-games running on the laptop.
-webcams
-Xbox (via nix capture card)
-other laptops (via nix capture card)
However, if I use the same nix capture card on my ipad (via the lighting to HDMI dongle), I get nothing but black screen (though the audio DOES) make it through the capture card. I am at a complete loss. I have tried to play with the video card selection to no avail but honestly I can't think of any problem that would only have an issue with a feed from an iOs device.
I've also checked and the dongle works if I plug the HDMI cable into a TV instead of the capture card.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
