Question / Help Black preview and black video

On my laptop the preview is black and the recorded video is black. I've tried using both integrated Intel graphics and Nvidia graphics. I've also tried disabling "enable browser source hardware acceleration", although I've very little idea what that means. I've also tried running OBS as administrator. Depending on your Windows version and what sources you wish to use, you may need to set OBS to run on a specific GPU. Not sure which Windows version you have? Press Windows+R and run "winver". For Windows 10 1909 or newer: Open Settings and search for "Graphics Settings". Select "Classic App"...

I am already set to "classic app". I'm using Windows version 1909. In my Nvidia settings I have tried both Intel and Nvidia graphics.

Did you add OBS to the list in the windows settings app?
Did you set OBS to power savings in that?
