Question / Help Black out data on video?

I am creating a video to show employees how to sign up for benefits next year. I am, out of necessity, using a live account and need to black out a few small areas of a couple of screens to hide my checking account information, for example.

Is there a way to edit a video just to black out this data?

For simple masking, you can prepare blank/mask images that you add as image source to OBS. Move them over your to-blank areas and resize them accordingly.
It's also possible to create one customized mask image for all, which you add via right-click your source->Filter->Image Mask/Blend. You have to paint this - an opaque pixel means to mask out and a transparent pixel means no masking. This way, you can mask not only rectangular areas but areas of arbitrary appearance.
