Black Jittering Bars when recording videos in certain applications

Whenever i try to record videos in certain games (usually the ones that require more processing power) Black jittering bars appear. This is very annoying because i have to edit around them in videos, sometimes making it unwatchable. Image attached, the bar is like that but moving everywhere and often spanning the length of the screen.

Assuming NVidia card under Xorg and SHM capture (you actually give zero details) - search the forum for "Opengl flipping".
