Question / Help Black Flashes using MacBook Pro and OBS with Webex

Hello, we are using OBS along with WebEx, using the Windows Capture feature. We then stream it back to a broadcast server. I noticed every few seconds or so, it flashes to a black image in the OBS interface. I have tried everything, going full screen with WebEx, chaigning resolutinons and it keeps happening and was hoping someone could help or suggest something.

Window capture on MacOS is non-performant. The workaround is display capture, with the crop mode "Crop to a window" enabled.

Add a source of the type "display capture". When the pop-up window appears to allow you to select which display to capture, there will be an option called "Crop". Choose the option "To a window" and then choose the window.

That is normal. If OBS is on the display you are capturing, OBS captures itself. Normal use case for OBS involves either more than one display, or minimizing OBS.

On a different note, any idea why audio might start distorting after a certain period of time using ihshowu audio capture?
