Question / Help Bitrate randomly fluctuates to low/high bitrates

Hello!

I stream almost everyday and randomly during some streams my bit-rate on the OBS window will have drastic fluctuations. It will shootup to maybe 9000 and then drop to around 500. This causes my stream to drop frames and my viewers to experience buffering. Sometimes it lasts 5 minutes and sometimes it can last longer. Any help would be appreciated.

It happens to me as well neewha. For me, its usually when the upload bandwidth speed drops. I've gotten into the habit of always doing a speedtest before streaming and observing what upload speed is currently being stated. Then, adjust the bitrate accordingly (usually 10% less).
