Bug Report Bicubic downscale filter doesn't work on AMD Radeon HD 7870

As the title states. The bicubic downscale filter outputs a black video with working audio while the preview works on the AMD Radeon HD 7870 using the latest official AMD drivers. Changing to either of the other 2 downscale filters fixes the issue. The log doesn't seem to display anything weird though. It might be that this is a unique scenario but that's what I've had an issue with.

Hm, interesting, now sure if/when I'll be able to replicate, though I'm going to watch out for it.

I suppose for the time I'd recommend lanczos though, it's slightly better than bicubic.
