ISSUE:
Frames drop, in-game using command perfoverlay.drawfps 1, from 50-60 down to 25-35 sometimes as low as 12 when I stream BF1. Some times just havin OBS up and not even being in a BF1 server gives me >30 FPS.
OBS settings:
Bitrate 2500, i have an 100 up and down internet.
encoder x264
Rescale output 1280x720
rate control cbr
cpu usage preset Faster
base res 1920x1080
downscale filter bicubic
common fps values 29.97
(I dont know what else there is to share on this topic)
System spec:
windows 7
mobo - msi z97 Gaming 5
CPU - intel core i7-4790K
2x GPU with SLI on - GTX 960 Gaming 4gb(each)
PSU - RM850
Ram - 32gb ddr3 corsair vengeance
Webcam on during streams
2x screens - Benq G2220HD (Which I have OBS, Streamlabs, Discord, Spotify and Mozilla running on during stream) and Benq E2200HD (Which I have BF1 running on in windowed borderless on medium and low settings in the game). Both screens are connected to one GPU (Orelse SLI doesnt function)
Suspicions:
Duying CPU or GPU?
Nvidia 3D driver being notoriously bad and should be uninstalled?
physX being run on wrong card?
faulty settings? in OBS? in game? on windows?
even having 2 screens causing the issue?
OBS or DICE hates me?
Tested:
Not having spotify
turning off all music
restarting
reinstalling OBS
verifying files of BF1
skipping SLI and running each screen on their own card.
What is your 2 cents about this issue?
