Location: OBS v26.1.1
Sources > Plus Sign > Add device.
After adding one and assuming it works, click on "Configure Video"
The "Properties" dialog pops up showing with 2 tabs.
The reason for this post is to ask which commodity web cams are exposing the most number of properties
on the "Video Proc Amp" and "Camera Control" tabs within OBS.
Example: an $8USD SQ11 1080p cube is a bare bones cam without device level support for Zoom, Focus, Exposure, Aperture, Pan, Tilt, Roll and LL Comp
Not really suitable for content production.
Already, our camera choices in 2021 see new products available. Lots of features. Low prices.
In the web cam strata of products, can anyone comment on which cams have the best OBS accessible features, best lens, etc for the price?
Like why buy yet another DLSR when 87.522% of the DLSR feature set is never used while being a 'head on a pike' in a streaming suite?
