So looking at most of the threads about gaming, it appears I might be in the completely wrong place but thought it would be a worth a shot asking anyway.
I am a medical student and at the moment there are loads of good lectures being streamed live on Zoom but I can't always be there since I am working in the hospital. I've found that OBS is the best software (that is also free) for recording lectures when I am not there/ I want to do other work on my laptop so I can go through them another time. I guess my main issue is what are the best settings for this sort of thing? I've got the IshowU audio to record only system sound, so that is sorted but I was wondering if there was a way to auto-stop the recording after a set duration? and which capture is the best (monitor, window/ etc?)
Also the videos are saved as mkv but when I convert them into MP4 online, the quality of it goes all blurry- is there a better site for this?
