I wanna get rid of some of the clutter on my desk, so I would like to start using just my Macbook Pro to screencap video fullscreen with OBS. It's a 16:10 screen tho and i'm not sure how to record correctly so it's 16:9, without giving it that squished appearance. Anyone now of an easy way to do this in OBS? Can't seem to figure out the settings, it always gives me goofy results. It looks like you can crop it with out feature but does anyone know the exact number for a perfect crop so I don't have to go 1-200 lol.

I have my screen in 1024x640 mode. I record 1024x576.

Since this is a retina screen, I specify the base viewport as 2048x1172. Testing shows that I actually need the 32 samples (slowest) to get it to record CLEAN.

GAR GAR GAR: Why, why can I not just say "Record every 4th pixel"? Why do you insist on first trying to record 4 times as much, and then I have to spend time filtering it back?

Video:
Base 2048x1152
Output 1024x576
Downscale Lanczos Sharpened 32
FPS 30

Output:
Uncheck rescale output.
