Question / Help Best Settings? (On a laptop)

I haven't really had a lot of issues with the encoder error in the past, but lately, I've been getting the encoder overload message, which has caused lag and frame drops/freezes. I feel like it's because I'm on a laptop, but I haven't had this before, so I dunno. My specs are included in the log file. I want to know what the best settings would be, given the specs.
