Question / Help Best settings for recording

Hi,
I would record some games like R6S and i need help with setup. I've tried some tutorials but it doesn't work. Everytime my records are very laggy and I need help. My build:
i7-7700K 4.2 GHz
Asus amd radeon r9 380 strix 4gb
RAM DDR4 8gb
SSD Samsung 960 Evo M.2 250GB 3200MB/s

Ye maybe i7 and r9 380 isn't best mix but now i have to stay with it. I hope you can help me

Posting a log might help other to give a bit of advice.
In all honesty, it's all trial and error. There is no right or wrong way. It's you changing various settings to get to the desired recording you want.

Here is an excellent video by @EposVox on recording settings within OBS. This video really helped me learn terms and what to adjust and what to leave alone.
