Question / Help Best settings for recording screen

So all im trying to do is record my screen while using chrome. And it just lags insanely. I recorded games before and had less lag than this so i dont know what im doing wrong. Ive messed with the settings and nothing seems to work. What are the best settings to just record a simple screen with only OBS and chrome running.

I have a i5-6200U and 8GB of ram

Use the auto configuration wizard.

If after that you still have a problem, do a recording session, observe your problem, and then post a log.
