Question / Help Best settings for recording games on an All-In-One PC?

Hello, I am new to this software and I would like some help.

I have an HP All-in-One PC (which basically has laptop components) with these specs:
CPU - Intel Core i5-6200U, RAM - 6 GB, HDD - 1 TB, Graphics - Intel HD Graphics 520 + NVIDIA 920MX, OS - Windows 10 Home
This computer has a native 1080p resolution.
I want to record games in 720p 60FPS, so I tried some settings using different bitrates and also the guide for recording using x264 encoder, but I didn't get the desired result. The output video becomes choppy (not even 30 FPS).

Can you guys recommend me the best settings / the solution to the problem I am having? Thanks in advance.

Well the CPU you are using is only a dual core. You should have at least a quad core CPU.

Usually i would tell you to try out Nvenc encoding instead of X.264. but i'm afraid your graphics card is not up for the task either.

Could you try Nvenc at 480p@30fps and see if that's possible?
