Hi, I know this has been asked before, but I really need help on this and really do want to use this software.
So, what are the best settings for my computer to record? I've tried to use OBS a couple of times to record gameplay on some games, but it always says the encoding profile is too high, and the video freezes and only audio plays. I've tried looking for optimal settings for better results, but they yield the same results. I've tried downscaling, but by the time the settings finally stops the freezing, the video is downscaled to the point that it's just blury and barely viewable. Sometimes I fiddle around with the settings and think the recording's quality is reasonably okay after recording some gameplay for a few minute/seconds or so, and so I record a full session of gameplay, and it turns out the recording didn't turn out good and either froze or was extremely laggy and I lost some relatively funny moments that occurred during gameplay.
I want to use OBS because it's a free recording software that I see gaming Youtubers use, but I just can't figure out how the right settings to yield good recording. I've given it plenty of chances to work, and ended up uninstalling it after deciding that it's unusable for me. This time, it's different, as I am posting this so I can get actual help for my specific problem. I'm not sure if it's just because my computer is just simply incompatible or what, but I'm hoping with this post I can finally get this to work.
Here's my PC's specs to help:
Processor: AMD E1-1200 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.40 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
