Question / Help Best Settings for i7 8700K and GTX 1070

I want to record gameplay at 1080p 60fps. I usually play fps games like Overwatch, CSGO, Cod, and Apex Legends.

My rig:
Intel Core i7 8700k
Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce
Dual Channel 8GB HyperX Fury RAM
Gigabyte Z370 UD3H Motherboard

I tried all the settings I found in youtube videos about it, but the gameplay always came out very choppy, I play at 1080p and my monitor is at 144 hertz, and i want to record at 1080p 60 fps. So if any of you have a GTX 1070, or any setting that might be good for my rig, please tell me, thank you.

I had the same problem where my game was at high FPS and no lag at all, but the recording was very laggy and choppy. I found a fix for it that's really simple. In OBS if you use the Game Capture option to record your game in the sources box but also have the normal Display capture to allow you to record desktop etc, delete the Display Capture one and leave the Game capture.

And BTW I have the same CPU and GPU so you should be all good.
After that when you record it should have fixed it. If not then I'm sorry.
