Question / Help Best Settings for i5 3570k + GeForce Titan X (pascal)

I'm looking for the best settings to record OBS, preferably 1080 but 720 is okay with the following hardware. Currently having issues with PUBG. without recording im 60+ fps constant. With recording I have drops and lag spikes down to 45 fps.

My current rig is the following:

i5 3570K (OC'd to 4.2)
GeForce Titan X (pascal)
8GB ram
SSD

My PUBG settings are as follows.
Everything on Very low except for Anti Aliasing = Ultra, Textures = High, View Distance = high.

I have a 1050 4x gaming that I was thinking I could put in to only record but would i take a performance hit because of the two cards? Would upgrading to a i7 3770K help at all? Any and all suggestions to get a smooth clear recording with minimal impact to game performance is greatly appreciated.

Yes you would due to the second card forcing BOTH cards into x8 mode.

Thanks Harold. What settings would you suggest? Also, in your sig you state that you suggest not saving directly to mp4. What would you save as? And what are the pros/cons of MP4?

For recording:
Settings - output
Output mode: Simple
Recording quality: Indistinguishable
Recording format: FLV
Recording encoder: Software (x264, low cpu use, increased file size)

Pros of mp4: when it works right it's compatible with a lot of stuff
Cons of mp4: if ANYTHING interrupts the recording process, the entire file is rendered useless.
