Question / Help Best resolution/fps/rate control for Twitch?

I've been toying with the OBS settings. I am at a bitrate of 3500 and a resolution of 720p 60fps. I was unsure of which rate control to use. Can I get a professional opinion on this?

Btw my CPU is a i7 - 6700k and my GPU is a GTX 1070

always use CBR for livestreaming. twitch shows their broadcast requirements here

you should use faster CPU preset, or veryfast if you are getting encoding lag/dropped frames.

many people with slower connections complain if you stream at 3500, if they do lower it to 2500 or 3000

60fps doesn't always look better than 30fps in stream. You should try both, and see which one you like better.

720p resolution is almost always the best if your CPU can handle it (which a 6700k easily can)
