Question / Help Best record setting for editing?

I see some threads say best settings for recording, but i have to wonder if that coincides with best settings for fast playback in the editing softwares.

I'm using intel qsync and i'm wondering if any of the formats or settings can make a difference here. so far i'm just using MP4 by default
 
Use FLV and remux to MP4 with OBS Studio. For editing, I recommend the 'Indistinguishable Quality, Large File Size' preset. Compress the video with HandBrake.
