Hey guys,
Ive been streaming with x264 for a long time and now want to go with h264. I bought a 1080ti and want to get the best streaming quality possible.
So i have a few Questions about the output tab.

1. I disabled two pass encoding cause i heard its not good for streaming is that right?
2. (B-Frames): is on 2 what does this setting affect?
3. (GPU): I guess this is the GPU obs should use and its only important for people with more then 1 card right?
4. (Level): This is set on auto what should i put in there for best quality streaming?
5. (Profile): I set it to high but since i use h264 now and not x264 i got another option called: high444p. Should i use it or stay on high for best streaming quality?
6. (Preset): Im confused with which preset i should go. Which one gives the best Streaming Quality? Because i changed it from High Quality to low latency high perfomance and i didnt get much more GPU usage?

My pc specs:
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-8700k, 4× 5 GHz
RAM: 16 GB RAM DDR4
GPU: 1x Gefore GTX 1080Ti
HDD: 3TB Intenso HDD
SSD: 250GB Crucial MX300

My Upload speed is 10k btw and i have set the bitrate to cbr 6000 cause its the max twitch allows.

Thanks for any help!

1> 2-pass encoding is not good for realtime in general. Recording or streaming.

3> Indeed, and changing it could potentially break things.
4> Leave the level on autio, it doesn't affect quality on its own, but if you set it wrong, the encoder won't let you start your streaming/recording.
5> H264 Profile is what that's for and you should be setting it according to your streaming service's recommendations
6> NVENC's encoder components are on dedicated circuitry, so overall gpu load won't actually change if you change your encoder settings.

In the twitch settings it says that i should use Level: AVC (h.264) Level: 4.2. But i will let it on auto.
So which preset should i use? High Quality? I found myself having much more fps and better Ping in game when i used low latency high perfomance. With High Quality i had fps drops and my Ping was going up as hell. I didnt understand the diffrences with the presets :(
