After being fairly happy with my OBS settings, I tried recording a game this weekend, that just looked horrendous , so I'm back to the drawing board as far as settings go.
I have a 2020 i9 MacBook Pro. I've just been playing COD and noticed the CPU was never going over 16% 60FPS, so it seems I have room to manoeuvre .
My CRF is currently at 17, CPU Superfast.
Is there anything I can do to improve my picture?
I imagine bringing the CRF down will result in jerky movement, so not sure if `I'm stuck with what I have till I can buy a decent PC for recording.
The MBP is great for other things, especially for my work as a photographer, but not so much for recording games.
Obviously it looks like I could alter my CPU speed , but I didn't think that affected picture quality?
If there's anything else I could do I'd love to know.
