Question / Help Best OBS Settings for recording high quality CS GO gameplay

My PC:
MSi B250 PC Mate Motherboard
Nvidia GTX 1050 2 GB Gpu
i5 7500 3,8 Ghz
8 Gb Ram
120 Gb Ssd
Please recommend me the best obs settings. I want to record 1080p60fps if possible. Thank you!

To record gameplay, simply put OBS output settings to "simple mode", select NVENC and set quality to "Indistinguishable" and you are good to go.
This works with 1080p60 just fine.

@Zidakuh i have an r5 2600x and r9 290 4gb, 16gb ram. can i use the same settings to accomplish the same goal in rainbow 6? i dont have the NVENC in my option in obs, which ive read a lot about but it doesnt give that option and records my gameplay at 15fps max

You can't use the NVENC encoder with an AMD card, it's a hardware feature of Nvidia cards. You'll need either to select the AMF encoder, or use the CPU-based x264 encoder.

okay.. and my cpu usage is sitting at 1% while recording <15fps. anything you can think of that id need to change or do you need the logs

i wanted to update you on my progress, i got it to work finally. i had to downscale my output resolution to 720p and the fps to 30. then i lowered my video quality to high (from ultra) in-game. and im getting a solid 28-30 fps in the recording. i appreciate you guy's help
