Question / Help Best OBS settings for low internet upload speed ?

Hey guys,

Im trying to figure the best OBS settings for my slow internet connection (i have the fastest in my country). I have a 8.5Mbps down speed and 0.84 up speed. What are the best settings to be used for me ?

I have the following specs

AMD Ryzen 1600 3.7 oc'd
GTX 1060 3GB
16GB RAM
Asus b350 gaming
120Gb SSD
1TB HDD

Without making you go through all the testing, I would say either "480p 30fps, 500 bitrate, fast x264 preset" or "360p 30fps, 500 bitrate, very fast x264 preset".

You can give the Auto configuration wizard a try also.

Your upload speed is limiting to the point where I would not even attempt to live stream. If you want to get absolutely minimal 720p 30fps live stream up and running, you will need to have at least 2mbps upload speed, from which 1.5mbps will go for obs and the rest for other online activities.
