Question / Help Best HD Video Recording Settings for my Rig

Hi, title says it all. I just want to know the best settings for recording without lag or stutter. I've tried the recommended on this:

I want a tad bit sharper image and sometimes even with non crispy specs I notice a frame loss when editing.

Intel i5 6600k
GTX 1070
16 GB DDR4 RAM

Yeah I have tried to use the x264 settings even on low CPU usage and the video quality comes out meh because the CPU instantly rockets to 100% usage and then I begin to lose massive frames. I'll try indistinguishable w/ NVENC because the 1070 is a beast.
