I recently changed my streaming-setup and switched from OBS on Windows to a Dual-Setup with a Mac-Studio.
It's different. I guess it kind of depends on what you want to stream. Mac simplified my audio-setup (DAW, Midi-Controller, Audio-Interface for Instruments blabla) by a ton since everything just started working out of the box, which is nice. With Windows I had to use several small helping programs to get to the same result.
On the other hand, OBS on Mac feels a little wonky. For example sometimes my Hotkeys stop working out of the blue. Also you have to take a close look on the programs you want to use, since not everything is working out of the box on mac. e.g. SAMMI took me several hours to get it to work properly.
Also my AVer Capture Card had strange bugs with the mac (Sound got stuck in a 1-second loop) that even played on when I restarted the Gaming-PC. Viewers joked that it must be stuck in the cable, so at least we had fun...
Switched to a elgato hd60x and never looked back.
TLDR;
Fancy Audio-Stuff --> Mac
Quality of Life --> Windows
