Best audio Settings for educational videos

Hi there, i've been recording for my classes, and also 1-2 min videos for social media, in mp4 format.
When i first installed OBS, it was all beautiful, decent video quality and amazing microphone quality (i use a simple mic connected to my laptop but works amazing), and at a filesize about 200 mb for an hour video.

But then i re-installed OBS and i can't figure out what config is best :(
My actual filesize is ok, but audio quality is bad. I tried with filters but they won't work.

I've set my audio rate to 320 kbps but there's not big changes.

How can i achieve best audio quailty at small filesize ? (I don't care with video quaility too much)

Hopefully you aren't recording in MP4 format.... lots and lots of references to NOT doing that (and why) for OBS .. I won't bother to repeat them here
short version is record to MKV, then remux to MP4 if that is the desired container format
