Beginner Problem: Scene Transitions module doesn't appear?

Hey everyone,

Apologies I'm just starting out but I'm educating myself on OBS on YouTube and almost every video on there shows the layout editor where one of the sections - along with scenes, sources etc - is "Scene Transitions". I can't see that on mine and it isn't available in Layout Editor. In fact, the only mention of transition I can see on my interface is the option is above the scenes section, which has a cog icon and allows me to 'edit scene transition'. Even when I add a transition and click done, nothing really happens and I don't know what's active.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just found a newer video explaining it. I wanted to delete this post but can't really figure out how to do that either
