Question / Help Been seeing GPU support on other programs, coming to OBS soon?

Just curious if a GPU encoder option will become available in OBS anytime in the future? I've played with a few other programs that have it, I don't like using those very much but that obviously means there is a way to do it. Just curious if there's a chance it'll come to OBS soon?

OBS on Windows already has NVENC, AMF (3rd party plugin) and QuickSync (Intel) support.

On MacOS I think QuickSync is the only option, for Mac hardware that has Intel CPUs with integrated video. I don't believe any other options can exist without vendor support.
