Question / Help Bass too loud on headseats

Hello boys,

I'm here for a little problem with the sound of the streams / records.
I have a Razer Kraken HeadSeat and the "problem" is here.

When I choose my speakers for default device, the sound on records looks like normal. But when I choose my headseat, it seems "bass boosted".

Here a video to understand : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkjiO6x4PVg&feature=youtu.be
(Text : Haut-parleurs = Speakers, Casque = Headseat Razer).

I think it's not OBS fault, but in my Razer Panel, no option is checked, bass boost is disabled. I really don't understand where the problem can come from.

Thanks for your help guys !

I've been having exactly the same issue with the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma. I tried updating my Realtek audio drivers like many of the other threads suggested and nothing changed. Yes, I have tried enabling and disabling the bass boost option in synapse and it does make a slight difference, but not nearly enough.
Anyone got any ideas?
Also, the bass boost is noticeable in Shadowplay, even with the setting disabled in synapse.

Finally found a solution. Synapse seems to modify the audio before OBS records it, hence the distortion.
What I recommend is to install Virtual Audio Cable and have it be your default audio device, but to have your headset listening to it. The latency is not noticeable and by having OBS recording your VAC it actually completely removes the bass boost while letting you still hear it. You can even have certain apps sending their audio directly to your headset, so that they don't appear in your recordings.
