Hello,

recently setup OBS studio, wondering if there's a way to increase the quality of my game on stream and remove the fps drop?

My PC specs:

CPU: i7 3770k Overclocked @4.2GHz
GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 SuperClocked
RAM: 16GB RAM
Drive1: SSD 128GB
Drive2: 3TB Hard Drive

Current OBS Settings:

http://prntscr.com/buemz7
http://prntscr.com/buen1x
http://prntscr.com/buen4g
http://prntscr.com/buen6c

Note I AM playing on 1440p and then streaming at 1080p? Might this be the problem?

Downscale to 720p. You will get less CPU usage and a clearer image.

I've done that, although now I'm getting framerate lag (the outputted video file) looks like its 10fps at points, then goes back to 60fps (at least from what I can visually tell.) I tried increasing encoder preset to superfast, although any other ideas on how I can combat the problem (this so far has seemed to help a bit) (I'm now trying to do 720p 60fps streaming)

Please post a log.
Well luckily my friend actually gave me some really good settings, 3.5k bitrate, 1080p, and 45fps. Video looks very good, hopefully it will be also watchable for viewers on the other side. Also used the nvidia nvec, which further made my fps in game better! Very excited to be using this.
