Bad recording quality LG screen, broken and distorted

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble with the video recording in OBS. The screen I’m capturing looks clean, but the visual, mainly text, is completely broken and distorted in my recordings. The letters appear fragmented, making the text hard to read. This happens regardless of whether I use window capture or display capture, and I've tried adjusting the scaling settings, resolution, and font smoothing, bitrates, but nothing seems to work.

Is there something i'm missing ?

Your recording settings look good. Check the video with a different media player. It seems your current player doesn't perform rescaling properly.

Wow....It was just that ^^...I've spent hours trying different configurations while it was just my player which was the problem and I didn't even think to try another one.
