Hi, For the first time in using OBS, I have received the attached error notice. Can anyone inform me how to rectify this error, please?

Hi Ritch, thank you for your reply, you will have to forgive me as I am not familiar with computer jargon, ie: file paths and such. As you will have gathered by now I am a complete beginner. If it would not be too much of a hassle, perhaps you might explain how to check my file output file and what to do with the information, for example: What should it be set to and how to alter it to work if it is set incorrectly? I thank you for your anticipated advice.

If you what to capture (and record) something with OBS Studio, then the generated recording is need to be saved on your PC locally (on the hard drive). All data on the PC saved as "files". Each file has its unique name (like "video1.flv") and destination or path (like "D:\Videos"). The path to obs recordings can be configured at Settings>Output>Recording: Recording Path of the program. Click "browse" button right to the option and select the new path for your output.
