Bad colour…

I try to convert old videotapes from my VCR to my pc. Some tapes are old. On tv-screen they have good colour, but in OBS om the pc the colour is bad. Sometimes no colour at all. How can I set my OBS studio so it can receiver the colour better? Thank you for support.

I wonder if your capture device is not picking up the color information as well as the TV does, and OBS just passes through what it gets. TV's are usually pretty good a salvaging a bad signal; everything else, not so much.

If you're using a cheap capture device, you might try a different one of those. Quality control is usually lacking with cheap stuff. Sometimes it works by accident, other times...
