Bad Audio Quality from game capture card.

I've been learning to record game play for the new pokemon game and been practicing recording off my switch with a LEADNOVO Audio Video Capture Card, HDMI USB3.0 4K 1080P 60fps. I can plug in my headphones into the capture card and hear the audio the way it is supposed to be but then when I listen through OBS or after recording it sounds like a lower quality. I think it might have to do with surround sound settings on my speakers but I have turned those off.
