Background Removal

I have an issue with the "Background Removal Tool" flash screen that says there is a newer version. I don't use Background Removal so don't want to do the update. However even if I check the "Do Not Show" box it continues to appear. Running OBS 30 fresh install (Snap), on Ubuntu 24.

It appears that there is no way to update plugins with a snap installation of OB S. I have manually installed files into my /snap directory tree, my flatpak directory tree and to my /usr directory tree. and still getting 1.1.8 as the version when I try to install that filter.
