Background removal Issue

Hello,

I just downloaded background removal 0.5.14 zip and added the two folders into my OBS location. All the videos I see say to + under Audio/Video Filters and add background removal, but its not showing up. Now if I go under Effect Filters it shows up there. The issue with that is once I add it, my cameral delay is extremally slow. Can someone help me on why I am not seeing it under the Audio/Video Filters.

Did you ever solve this? I just downloaded OBS and I have this issue. It only shows under "effect filters" and when I click it there's only 1 scrollbar with "Blue background" which works but that's not what I wanted

Aug 1 2024 , exact same thing happened to me. This is first post I've found matching my problem. Over 1 yr has past and no fixes , am I missing something?

Absolutely. You didn't asked the plugin dev for the issue you have. If you go to this plugin page, on the discussion section you can write and ask for support.

The filter is working properly.
There's not much you can do wrong. Go to the plugin download page, download the exe installer of the current release, install it, start OBS, add obs background removal as effect filter. It's always showing up as effect filter.
