I am relatively new to using OBS although I am familiar with the very basics. I recently got a microphone that plugs into my laptop via USB that I use to record my voice while I record my game audio and party chat audio through my Elgato HD60s capture card. For some reason, there is a terrible low pitched white noise in the background of all my recordings that I can really only hear when I wear headphones or if I turn my laptop volume all the way up. If there was a way to attach a .mp4 clip for reference I'd show you.
Is this something I can fix using audio filters in OBS? (how do I do that) Does my microphone pick up this noise because it was like $35? (unlikely) Any feedback would be helpful.
