Question / Help Avermedia Livegamer HD 2 Freezing

Hey

Im having issues with a freezing Avermedia capture card. It would start up normal, but after time, it would freeze and after trying to re-add the device it would show up black. This is also relevant in REcentral. About 10 minutes after I leave it alone, the display would just pause permamently and after that it automatically starts black. It may work after reset or the next day until I run into the same problem. I´ve managed to have 2 streams out of 5 when it didnt do this. Otherwise I´d have to call off the stream after it would turn out not-working after I left it alone and played the intro-screen and waiting music for 10 or so minutes.

What I´ve tried:

- checking the connectivity manually. When I try to insert the card into it´s PCI-e slot, I need to put it in sort of an angle, because otherwise I cant safe-screw it. If there however was a connection issue, the display wouldnt show anything in the first place...right?

- reinstalling software and drivers

- Taking CPU off powersaving mode.

Try uninstalling all the AVerMedia stuff and see what happens if you just let Windows handle it.
Also, make sure you only add the capture card once, then re-use the source if you need it in multiple scenes.
I don't think you need to use the stream engine thing that AVerMedia provides.

I say that because the error you're getting is this, 0x800705AA: ERROR_NO_SYSTEM_RESOURCES "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."

From some quick Google kung fu that most likely just means that the capture card is already in use.
