Question / Help Avermedia Live Gamer HD (C985) Displayport OBS issue

Have had the Avermedia Live Gamer HD (C985) for a couple of years now put away in a cupboard and decided to pull it out for another look. Since then i have had a bit of an upgrade (1080Ti with the Asus 34" 3440 x1440 monitor).

My issue is the display port. As the avermedia card only has hdmi in and out, do i have to use a convertor or is there other options to get it working properly with OBS?

Your issue has nothing to do with OBS. You have to attach something to the LGHD that runs at a resolution the LGHD supports. Anything else and it won't work. That hardware only supports up to 1920x1080@60i from what I recall.

As to Display Port vs. HDMI: Yes, you will need an adapter.
