Question / Help AVerMedia Live Gamer Extreme, Supported, or nonsupported?

I need to know if this device works efficiently with OBS MP, any problems it has, the types of latency it has etc.. I'm tired of the crap I get from my HD PVR 2. All details and information would be greatly appreciated :D

I have it and use it with OBS MP. Latency is is good as zero (a couple of frames). Video comes in uncompressed at 1080p60.

Only issue I have is that SOMETIMES, when starting OBS MP, my PC will bluescreen. The error mentions my graphics card DLL, so it's probably caused by the driver. However, since I first start and close ReCentral 2 and THEN start OBS MP I haven't had the bluescreen anymore..

Otherwise it's an amazing device and a huge step up from my Elgato Game Capture HD.

I have the LGX and its absolutely fantastic. Works flawlessly with OBSMP. Don't use the latest drivers though, as you wont get any audio. OBSMP hasn't been updated to work properly with them yet. Use the previous driver.

It puts the same strain as any other capture device. Biggest difference is that it doesn't precompress the video, so since your CPU won't need to decode that, it'll probably be less strain!
