Question / Help Avermedia Live Game Capture HD 2 Is not capturing my audio from my gaming pc

I have recently built a streaming pc to stream without losing performance on my gaming pc. I hooked it up as instructed but for some reason im having issues with audio. I have everything connected via HDMI. The only way i was able to get audio to pick up was to set my Default playback device as my monitor but then i cant hear through my headphones. I need it so OBS picks up my audio but my capture card i guess isnt letting me. I am going to simplify everything below.

Avermedia Live Game Capture HD 2 is connected properly to my Gaming pc
OBS is detecting the gameplay AKA my screen of my gaming pc
My Capture card is not detecting under playback devices like most are.
Whenever i select output to desktop still no audio.

Hi @Anthony Barkowski when you added the AverMedia source are you using the stream engine AverMedia option? That is very important. Also I have done this in the past and still do when I play console. If you go to the audio settings in the AverMedia via OBS you can wave the audio back out and get all the audio from your computer from the capture card. I know that is a bit confusing but that might be an option for you.
