Question / Help Avermedia LGP No Xbox or PS4 but Wii U? Help??

So a friend gave me this Avermedia Live Gamer portable. Everything was working fine until I decided to clean my PC. After taking it apart and putting it back together (just blowing it out) the capture card no longer worked when I plugged everything back in. When I add it to OBS studio its just a red dot in the corner with no video. This is the case on my PS4 and Xbox One ONLY. If I plug into my Wii U, boom. Unplug the capture card, plug it back in and Wii U is in OBS. Plug the HDMI into the PS4 or Xbox (using the exact same cable) unplug it and plug it back in and I get nothing. I was using the card on my Xbox the day before I unhooked and rehooked. Anyone have any idea what is going on.

And please, don't tell me to use LGP stream engine, everything was working fine without it before. I am running windows 10 and the newest OBS studio.

Here's a log but I don't know if it'll help.

Thanks for any help!

Try to re-create your capture sources ('Video Capture Device' source - delete it and add new one).

Suslik, I do each time I reset the capture card. I delete the original video capture device and add it again. Only when the Wii u is plugged in do I get anything. I've even tried deleting the scene and making a new one.

Wow, so after a few days of random tests and uninstalling I happen upon the deepest trenches of youtube and find a random video that doesn't really have anything to do with my problem. But, I hear about HDCP randomly as I'm surfing other solutions on forums and I remember seeing that setting on my PS4 and Xbox One. So, after about 2 minutes of filtering through settings I realized what was going on. With HDCP enabled on the ReCentral Avermedia Settings for the capture card and HDCP enabled on my Xbox and PS4 they were refusing to send the signal back and forth because... wait for it... Netflix was open in the background. If you want to keep HDCP on restart both of your consoles completely so no apps are open anywhere but the game you are playing. Or, turn HDCP off on both your LGP and your console. I have seen so many problems similar to mine with no solution and if I had time I'd go around and post this suggestion in about 50 other forum posts I've read. I feel dumb but relieved and a little more informed about things.

I'm actually thankful for my Wii U now. Without it I wouldn't have known the card was still outputting video. I hope someone else happens upon this post and this solves their problem!
