Hi Guys, not sure if I am being stupid or not, but I have just bought an Avermedia LGP Lite and I am having issues streaming,
I'm running OBS 32-bit and have added the video capture device source "LGP Lite stream engine"
I have updated the avermedia to it's latest firmware, installed the latest stream engine etc, but when I hit start streaming, I'm getting huge delay in game moving, picking things up and the game is going choppy.

Under the output settings I only have 2x options.
x264 or Nvenc (which I had before buying the avermedia)
I've selected x264, is OBS using my pcs cpu to encode instead of the encoder on the Avermedia? Seems like it is.
Is there supposed to be an option to use the Avermedia as the encoder?
Am I doing something wrong?
HDMI OUT (graphics card) to HDMI IN (Avermedia)
HDMI OUT (Avermedia) to HDMI IN (Monitor)

That's exactly how it works.

OBS is using the CPU or the GPU (when NVENC is used) for encoding.
But NVENC won't give you a good stream quality.

Maybe the Avermedia Software RecCentral will use the internal encoder of the LGP Lite.

Hi,
I have used the LGPLite succesfully with OBS with camcorders (not gaming). LGP does the enconding of the "HDMI IN" and transfers the encoded stream via USB to the windows driver. If you use the that stream in OBS and want to stream it forward The OBS makes the encoding of the stream. LGP Lite can not be used for encoding from OBS.
If you don't need to alter the stream use the RecCentral to forward the stream coming from LGP.
If you need to modify/combine/PIP/etc. the stream then use OBS in another computer than the game is running.

So you mean gaming pc sends data to lgp lite, lgp lite encodes it and sends it to 2nd pc, 2nd pc streams to twitch?
